Private disposable inboxes for everyday verification

ShazaMail creates temporary inboxes for situations where you need to receive an email without handing out your primary address. The service is receive-only, which limits abuse and keeps the product focused on inbound verification and temporary mailbox use.

Built for privacy, testing, and controlled retention

Incoming messages pass through recipient validation, durable spooling, malware scanning, MIME parsing, and Safe View processing before they appear in the inbox. Remote tracking beacons are neutralized and external images are blocked by default. Public documentation also explains the developer API, plan limits, security architecture, privacy policy, and acceptable-use boundaries.

Temporary by design, not a replacement for permanent email

Free inboxes are intended for short-lived verification and temporary receipt. Current Free entitlements provide one active inbox with one-hour message retention. Users who need longer retention, multiple inboxes, API access, webhooks, custom aliases, or larger attachment limits can review the Pro entitlements, but ShazaMail remains a receive-only service rather than a conventional personal email provider.

Developer workflows use isolated test inboxes

QA teams can create expiring test inboxes through the scoped REST API, wait for a matching verification message, and retrieve structured delivery data without sharing a personal mailbox with a CI system. Dedicated guides cover Playwright, Cypress, OTP testing, API quotas, and the security boundaries that apply to automated email verification.
